I am currently coordinating a business resource center in which we provide free counseling and other resources for emerging and established businesses. I am working with an adult client who has Asperger Syndrome. The center is located within a technical training institution but doesn't have a component to deal with special needs or learning styles. I observe various levels of social/communication skills with students in the computer sciences.

Does anyone have any experience or advice for helping a person with Asperger’s or other forms of autism attend technical training coursework?

Are there subjects that would be of help in training a person with autism for opening and operating a business, i.e. interpersonal skills?

Can you direct me to agencies/ institutions that may have programs already in place for continuing education for adults with autism?
